tED Renewable Energy/Efficiency Products Study -
June 2010
The big revelations about distributors: More are carrying solar products; fewer are looking at wind products; and surprisingly, fewer are interested in adding a LEED certification specialist than in 2009. Of note, 2009 results are incorporated to contrast and compare what's changed in the last year.
The 'Big 3' Takeaways:
- Interest and carriage of solar has grown. Slide 23 shows significant growth
in selling solar panels and the products that support them.
- Interest in wind has declined.
- Surprising results include a significantly lessened interest in adding a
LEED certification specialist to distributor offerings.
